The driver of a tractor trailer was rescued after a 2 hour extrication in Rush Township Saturday evening after his vehicle went down an embankment, officials said.
According to a Facebook post by the Hope Fire Company, crews from the Philipsburg Fire Department and Port Matilda Fire Company were dispatched around 7:40 p.m. to reports of a vehicle accident with unknown injuries on the 2400 block of Upper Flat Rock Road.
CURWENSVILLE -17 years ago, Jessica Holtmeyer was convicted of first degree murder in the death of Kimberly Dotts, and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Now, Dotts's family is being forced to relive the past. A recent supreme court ruling could give Holtmeyer a chance to be released.

UPDATE | Cameron County, PA (WJAC) — State police have released some new details about Wednesday's shooting at the district attorney's law office in Emporium.
Troopers say the shooting occurred around 3 p.m. when an unidentified female suspect shot an unidentified victim.
Police say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the shooter was taken into custody after fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Troopers say the circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation but authorities believe that it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

Megabus says it’s suspended all of its services in and out of New York City through April 9.
The busing company says the suspension is a precautionary move in response to the recommendation that anyone traveling from New York City should self-quarantine for 14 days.
One of their buses was already in transit to State College and was expected to arrive in State College Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Some people are concerned the suspension may be too late as the virus continues to spread in the state.
