Authorities say a body was found in the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle state park on Sunday afternoon.
Fayette County coroner Bob Baker says the man, identified as 55-year-old Paul Baluch, appeared to have died due to drowning.
Officials say an autopsy was performed and Baluch’s family has been notified.
The case is still under investigation at this time.

PEACH COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A Georgia woman is in custody after a chase in which she allegedly hit multiple people and vehicles.
Local police officers were told to be on the lookout for an SUV driving recklessly.
The caller told officers that the driver was weaving into the opposite lane, nearly hitting oncoming vehicles.
As the vehicle made it to an intersection, witnesses blocked the driver in. When Byron police arrived, they tried to talk to the driver, who was uncooperative and refused officers' commands, police say.

NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York said Johnstown native Steve Ditko, who co-created the Spider-Man and Doctor Strange characters for Marvel Comics, has died. He was 90.
Lt. Paul Ng says Ditko was found on June 29 in his Manhattan apartment and was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details were immediately available.
Ditko was born in Johnstown in 1927. His father was a master carpenter at a steel mill and his mother was a homemaker.

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC)-- — Treasure Lake security officers were able to see the results of their actions Saturday when an owl they saved a month ago was able to be released.
The owl was released around the entrance to Treasure Lake in Clearfield County around 5 p.m. after coming back from Tamarack Wildlife Center near Erie, Treasure Lake security officer David Beck said.
According to Beck, he was on duty about a month ago and found the owl down over a bank, which had been struck by a car.
BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — Charges have been filed against two Beaver County individuals after human remains were identified as a woman who went missing in 2022, state police said.
According to a press release, state police were requested by the Aliquippa Police Department April 18 just before noon to respond to the 100 block of 5th Avenue after human remains were found inside an abandoned building.
State police said that the remains were eventually identified as 24-year-old Ri'Kiah Griffie, who had been missing since 2022.
